Session questions:
  1. On slide 18, can you comment on the fast increase of the Faraday rotation atultrafast timescale for 800 nm pump (yellow graph)?
  2. What time scale of the uniaxial anisotropy dynamics are you expecting?
  3. (Chair) On slide 21, can you fit the oscillations with a single sine function? I.e., do you observe a variation in frequency over time?

1/ The increase corresponds to the pump probe overlap.
2/ The transmissivity time traces show an increase of transmissivity that lasts more than 900ps after time zero. Thus, we expect that the heat remains in the system for at least 900 ps. Our FMR time traces are observed up to 900 ps so the anisotropy did not recover to its initial value.
3/ We used only one frequency to fit our time traces. The fit is acceptable with only one frequency, thus we did not try to use several frequencies.
